For those of you who love Project Runway, Dustin Brookshire of Limp Wrist Magazine and the blog I Was Born Doing Reference Work In Sin brings you Project Verse. What is Project Verse? Project Verse is the “Project Runway” of the poetry world, a free 10-week competition where 10 poets will complete a weekly assignment and be evaluated by a panel of three recurring and one weekly guest judge. The competitors are working toward a big prize which includes a limited edition chapbook, a week-long residency at Marilyn Nelson’s Soul Mountain Retreat, an interview with Joe Milford of “The Joe Milford Poetry Show” and many other goodies.
