Upcoming Performances, Spring 2011

Mark your calendars.  Here’s a quick summary of my appearances this spring:

April

5:     6pm.  The White Swallow Presents: Lambda Literary Poetry Spotlight @ Cornelia St Cafe (29 Cornelia St, NY, NY). Reading with Steven Cordova, Alex Dimitrov, Jameson Fitzpatrick, David Groff, Joy Ladin, Timothy Liu, and Ocean Vuong.  Hosted by Sylvia Plaid. $7 cover includes a house drink.

23:    8pm.  NYsoundCircuit 2.3 @ The Brecht Forum (451 West St, NY, NY). This installment of NYsoundCircuit brings you the finest acoustic/electro-acoustic/electronic music in lower Manhattan, with the addition of a special guest, poet Matthew Hittinger. Artist-in-Residence Bill Mazza continues his Spatial Tendency project with In Vanity, Part IV.

2:     5:30pm.  Phi Beta Kappa speaker, Muhlenberg College.  Celebrating this year’s inductees.

12:   7-9:30pm.  “Theopoetics and Poets” symposium conversation with Scott Holland to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of ARC (The Society for the Arts, Religion, and Contemporary Culture) at Barbara Tamerin’s apartment (120 E 81st St, NY, NY).  I’ll be reading a poem or two.  Students, $10.  Fellows and Members, $25.  Regular, $35.  Please RSVP by April 22 to nlvos [at] enter.net.
